Meteors Falls was always a strange place. But, like his dragons, Remiel loved it here. There always seemed to be a new tunnel to explore, a new den to discover, and new secrets to dig up. Finding the draconid village and Regidrago, alone, was mind-blowing.

Today, Remiel set out with lower expectations than that. Summoning his Dragonite, Ferris, he simply sought to explore part of the large cave system that he hadn't explored yet. And you can be sure he had it all mapped.[break][break]

Despite lowering his expectations, however, rumours persisted in social circles around Rustboro that there was a chamber in Meteor Falls so big that it had its own weather system. Finding such a place would be fantastic, he thought. And having Ferris to ferry him up towards hard to reach routes, or across cave lakes, rivers, or waterfalls, made traveling through Meteor Falls quite easy.[break][break]

There was a hidden power here-- a force often left ignored. Since exploring the cavern last month, Atticus had found himself yearning to come back. Some part of him wanted to explore what was left untouched and uncover whatever mystery haunted his mind whenever the image of the cavern appeared in his head.

There was also the possibility of specimen encounters that certainly sweeten the idea of exploration.

With his partner, Pain , guiding him forward, the duo sauntered through the slick wet rocks. Eventually, Atticus' noticed a familiar face not too far along his path.

A ragged smile crept across his face. "Helloooo." With his head lightly tilted to one side, he waved.

Ferris had flown him to a new level of Meteor Falls, and it was here where he encountered a young gentleman with his Drapion. With a ragged smile and a wave, the man greeted Remiel. The royal's attention was forced to briefly redirect itself elsewhere, however, when a Tyrunt came rushing at his Dragonite with the intention to THRASH.[break][break]

Far superior in the art of combat compared to such a hatchling, however, Ferris swiftly dove in with a DRAGON RUSH and pummeled the baby dinosaur into the ground. As Remiel produced an empty luxury ball from his pack to throw at the Tyrunt, he turned his attention back to the other visitor. "Greetings. What might your name be?"[break][break]

While he didn't recognize the man, @hades might recognize him as an executive paper-pusher working under ADMIN FOX. Or, as he was more commonly known in the public eye, the Galarian Ambassador to Hoenn and heir apparent to the Galarian throne.[break][break]

Atticus mimicked the man's swift demolition of an innocent Pokémon-- his victim being a foolish Starmie who thought himself tough enough to battle. All it took was one CRUNCH to prove his confidence was misplaced.

"Atticus." His words were soft and delicate. His eyes, however, were not. "But most call me Hades."

Since arriving to the region, the scientist had made it a point to acquaint himself with the few notable figures residing here. Especially any with affiliations with Rocket. Though, he wasn't expecting too much fun from this one. "I hope you don't mind if I join you? This place can be so...dreary alone."
